On June 28 and 29 2018, the Archives Jean Piaget at the University of Geneva will organize a scientific event entitled Jean Piaget Conferences. The aim of these biannual conferences is to bring together the best specialists of a domain around a topic that is particularly relevant to Jean Piaget's theory and developmental psychology.
The theme selected for the next Jean Piaget Conference is the origins of number. More importantly, we plan to bring together most of the leader experts in this domain in a two-day conference where each invited speaker is asked to give a one-hour lecture. Doctoral students and young postdoctoral fellows will have the opportunity to present their ongoing lines of research.
Moreover, there will be an introductory event addressed to a more general audience, which will include a plenary lecture on the general theme of the conference, delivered by Brian Butterworth on June 27, 2018, the evening before the opening of the Conference.
The Jean Piaget Conferences are open to all scholars, researchers in developmental psychology, in cognitive psychology and in neuroscience.
Registration is required.
